Ok, i guess i should update, its been like weeks since i have because i kinda swore off of this thing, but whatever. I can't sleep for some reason. Every night for the past month i've been having trouble staying up and tonight i just don't want to go to sleep. Oh well. I'm so excited for the next two weeks:
Fri. May 13th-Prom
we have a limo but no more hotel because it costs too much, instead, we're gonna just go to afterparties and stuff till 5am
Sat May 14th
Band Banquet, i hope everyone goes =\
Sun. May 15th
My 8 month anniversary <3
Saturday May 21st
Military Ball, and may i say, i am very excited b/c i bought the most GORGEOUS dress
Wed. May 25th
Seniors' last day of school =( i'm probably gonna cry that day.
So there you have it. An update on my life for those of you who care. I have so much on my mind right now but none of it is suitable for an online journal for everyone to see. Nothing bad, just confusing. Oh well, ::sigh::, i guess i'll go watch TV until i fall asleep.

omg spring break is off to such a friggin great start. our spring break trip was soooo much fun. the 8 of us (me, boy, nic, samo, pooks, ed, sebass, and sexton) all went to universal for 3 days without any parents. it was fun x's 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.... u get my point. we made so many amazingly fun memories together. i can't wait to get the pictures back! =)
well that's it, i won't be online much this spring break b/c i plan on having a hell of a fun time. later.

i had such a good day yesterdat that it's worthy of an entry.
i woke up at 8:00 and went to mcdonalds by 9:00, i got two free breakfast sandwiches ontop of the deluxe breakfast that i ordered, so i went to nellys to give them to her and cindy. that intended 15 minute visit ended up being a visit from 9:00 am to almost 6:00 pm. it was so much fun though. we watched spanish porn(not really though) and hung out with a south american rich kid. i have to visit nelly more often, so much fun and i brushed up on my spanish skills =\
then i went out to dinner with boy at tarpon bend. it was fun, even though i had tomatoes in my chicken wrap. we went back to his house for like 10 minutes and then i went to chili's to see nic and the ace people. they're so much fun, i wish i had a job there. from there me and nic went to the carnival and met up with snot kaitlin, pooks, bailey, ed, and later tyler. we rode one ride like a million times b/c the carny liked us and then we rode the ferris wheel. it wasn't as bad this year (scary, i mean) because i got over my fear of ferris wheels last year when me, nic, fien, and chase rode it at the president's fest. All three of them made me ride it last year and i was gripping onto that damn pole so hard. Well, we got cotton candy and then i drove kaitlin and snot home and nicolette slept over. fun times. like i said, yesterday was SOO much fun!
well, hope you liked my update. check for another one next month. lol.

hmmm...i forgot what it's like to update in livejournal. its actually oddly exciting. anyway, i'm having a good break, or at least until tonight. i decided i would get started on the homework that my english and history teachers couldn't resist assigning,that is, until i looked for my history notebook and couldn't find my notebook. i swear for the life of me that i put it in my guard bag and it stayed put until i got home from practice. but, the next minute, my mom cleaned out my guard bag to take out the dirty clothes and my notebook is now suddenly disappeared. you probably don't care...alright...
anyhow, my break's been pretty good. i've spent a lot of time with boy and a lot of time with my family. i called yeff to hang out tonight but he never called me back. jerkface...
i still can't believe im updating.
guard = pain in my ass (i can't wait to graduate) I go to check my email today for the first time this break, and (no disrespect to the email writers) my entire inbox was flooded with emails about more mandatory guard crap and reminders of the 8 hour practice i have breathing down my neck. yuck.
tomorrow's new year's eve, so like always, i'll spend it in miami somewhere with my big cuban family. At least this year i'll have someone to kiss at midnight =)

2. How did the election and administration of John Quincy Adams arouse Jacksonian wrath and provide fuel for the new antielitest forces in American politics?
Although Andrew Jackson won the most votes of his four opponents, he did not gain a majority, so the election then fell in the hands of the House of Representatives, headed by Henry Clay. Jackson and Clay disagreed on a variety of subjects and the election had caused the two opponents to have a scornful relationship. Because of their tainted relationship, Clay chose John Quincy Adams as the new President, even though Adams had ten percent less votes than Jackson. The “corrupt” bargain that took place in this election between Clay and Adams and the new President’s administration while in office angered those antielitest forces in American politics and helped them to be determined to elect Jackson in the year 1828.
A “corrupt” bargain had taken place in 1824 that Jackson followers loathed. Clay, the man with only 12% of the votes, had been eliminated. Even though it seemed like Clay had been pushed out of the race, he was the popular Speaker of the House, so Clay could hand the presidency to any candidate he wished. Clay was soon named Secretary of State, an almost certain path to the success of the next election. Jackson had been overwhelmingly the choice of the people, so there was no doubt that many Americans became angry. The Jackson followers coined this secret relationship between Adams and Clay the “corrupt” bargain. The former singular republican party was now splitting into those who favored Adams and those who wished to elect Jackson in 1828.
The administration under John Quincy Adams proved to be not an entirely successful one. Adams himself was not a bad man, he was rather a very intelligent man, yet his frigid personality made him unpopular to the people. He possessed little politic skills and did not believe in the spoils system, which ultimately stripped him of the last followers he managed to keep. During his term, he proposed a national university and desired federal support for an astronomical observatory, unfavorable to the public. Adams also did not like western expansion and wished to keep a balance of power in the country. All of his beliefs and proposals during his term angered the public and consequently, his four years in office proved to be just four more years until the common man could elect Jackson into office.
John Quincy Adams, in his term as President, tried to hang onto the more conservative, aristocratic side of the singular Republican Party. But, the common man was increasingly becoming more involved in politics and wanted their views to be heard, and they felt their voices to be best interpreted through “Old Hickory” Jackson. If Clay had not corruptly elected Adams as the president, it could have been possible that the splitting of the one party in the United States could have taken a much longer time, ultimately postponing the eventual civil war. Adams’s presidency was an important one, but to the general public, his presidency seemed like a long four year postponement to their president, Andrew Jackson.

Hello my children. This is Nic. last night was friggin awesome in 80 million different ways. the only people that could come to my house were snot, nic, and pookie. then kaitlin came and i was so happy cuz shes SOOO CUTE! then craig and yeff are at my door. next (ha this is like a 2nd grade essay "then, next...") NEXT chase came with 4 friends, one of which i knew and the rest i had no clue. it was amazingly fun though. then me pooks nic snot stayed up talking about....sex. ha. well im done. this is a really annoying entry. sorry.
